Prayer Requests 10/23/06

Flava of the week . . . pun intended
hello peoples,
first off, miss you all.
second, my requests for prayer:
DEPENDENCE is the key word of the semester. all God wants from me is to keep coming back to him, even though i really have nothing to show for myself. it's actually a lot more painful to keep coming back to God when you know you have nothing to offer. and yet God just wants me to keep coming back and just being honest with where i'm at and being honest at the fact that i am in complete need of Him. that i can't do anything without him. and yet he still gives grace, which is completely ridiculous. please pray that i learn this lesson a little more deeply this millionth time around.
please pray for my college kids. even though they may show up an hour late, be glazed over, pick up their cell phones during bible study, knock out, and remain mute during the entire bible study--please pray that i would trust that God is doing his thing. please pray for supernatural power in those cramped dorm rooms, that God would somehow spark desire in these guys. and that i would love them no matter what.
thanks people : )

pr - “If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but loses or forfeits himself?" Luke 9:23-25
Please pray that I would deny myself, my selfish desires, my deep sin which needs to be repented for daily, and to look to the cross for strength and hope in doing so. And to see that as I seek for my worldly desires, I lose myself.
and to choose Christ, not myself.

hey everyone: revival was blessing and servants meeting was definately very refreshing. please pray for daily faithfulness: that i will not doubt God, walk/commune with Him moment by moment and PRAY CEASELESSLY.
pray that i continue FINISH the WORK of repentance on my part which God has called me to do. He has been giving me MUCH grace, and has shown me that because i was still holding on to my sin, i couldn't let it go.
revival conviction: to be faithful/diligent in my work. work is alright. it's not that bad and my parents (whom i work for) are wonderful to me. but even with the best environment, my weak heart still feels chained. i hate being weak.
lastly: pray for more workers in the harvest field-my youth group and my parents restaurant.
nars.
